David Walker joins Campaign as advisor

David Walker, a professional journalist, editor of The Guardian‘s PUBLIC magazine and a regular presenter of BBC Radio Four’s Analysis programme, has joined the Campaign.
Before joining The Guardian he worked for The Independent, The Times and The Economist, specialising in UK domestic policy and administration. He studied at the Universities of Cambridge and Sussex and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes and held a Harkness Fellowship in the United States.
He is a member of the British section of the Franco-British Council, a trustee of the National Centre for Social Research and a visiting professor at City University London. His books include: The Times Guide to the New British State; Did Things Get Better: An Audit of Labour’s Successes and Failures and Sources Close to the Prime Minister. The Campaign is delighted to welcome his extensive knowledge and expertise to help it in its activities.
