Campaign in Scotland to host Presidential Question Time

31 August 2016

Some of Scotland’s foremost scholars of American politics will discuss the result following the US Presidential elections on November 10.

Organised by the Campaign for Social Science in Scotland, hosted by the University of Aberdeen and chaired by Aberdeen Principal Professor Sir Ian Diamond, this ‘Question Time’ style event will give a context to the results and offer a sense of their implications for America and the rest of the world.

Panelists will include Prof Elizabeth Bomberg (Edinburgh), Prof Christopher Carman (Glasgow), Dr Murray Leith (UWS), Prof JP Singh (Edin) and James Wyllie (Abdn).
The event will be preceded by a drinks reception from 18.30 and take place in the Linklater Rooms, Regent Walk, Kings College Campus, Aberdeen.

Plans are currently being drawn up for other events around Scotland in the months to follow.
